Reeds Lake Kite Festival '09

Yes, the SUN was out in Michigan in February and it was about 50 degrees - what an amazing weekend! People just seemed to be in better moods and smiling more. I love what a dose of sunshine can do.

We spent Saturday afternoon at the Reeds Lake Kite Festival with some good friends. We had a great table on the deck, friends to chat with, some beers, free hot dogs, and cool kites to look at. It was a pretty perfect Saturday!

YAY, we ran into Robert, Genevieve, and Michele - it was super nice to see them. They've been incognito for a while with some yucky sickness. Plus, I am so happy Kurt finally got to meet these guys - he wasn't sure they really existed :)
