Grand Rapids Children's Museum with Angie and the Boys

Angie and the boys came to visit us over Christmas break and we had such a blast! Here are some fun pics from our time at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. This place is just fantastic, especially on cold and snowy days.

There was this crazy mirror triangle thing you could climb through and they loved it. It was super fun to take pics of, too. Below is Garren with his missing bottom tooth!

Give me some money!

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!

We had such a wonderful and busy Christmas and New Years that I have not posted anything in ages... I am so sorry. So, what have the Devlaeminck's been up to?

Our Christmas was wonderful. We headed over to Angie and Adam's place the day before xmas eve and I surprised Kurt with Pistons tickets! I had a t.shirt wrapped up for him and was about to tell him my surprise when our sitter said 'are you excited for the Pistons game?' - OH NO!!!! Oh well, Kurt said he had a suspicion that we were going to the game. He said he saw they were playing the Bulls, so he put 2 and 2 together  - what a smarty pants.

The crew having some drinks during half time (the guy in the background wasn't with us). Had such a blast hanging out with Angie and Adam and of course the Pistons WON!

Christmas Eve was wonderful!

We had some fun times playing the snow, making a snowman, and going for a walk (or sled).  That evening, we had a great spread of yummy appetizers, cookies, and of course toasted the holidays with our traditional Pina Coladas! So, we didn't have warm weather and sunshine, but we had some yummy foo foo drinks :) Angie organized a very nice little service, we sang some carols, and opened presents... it was a fantastic x.mas eve with a fabulous family!

Garren & Connor posing with their totally AWESOME (and very heavy to make) snowman.
Sadie thought she'd make a great head to the snowman

Christmas Cheers - Our traditional Pina Coladas - yummmmmm! Sorry, Kurt to chop your head off - no, it wasn't because I had too many coladas! (connor, garren, sadie, grandma j, owen, alisa, grandpa j, angie, adam, and kurt)

Sadie in her pretty Christmas dress (if you've seen this dress before it's because it was also her pretty 1st Birthday dress)

On the lookout for Santa
What, Yoda showed up to Christmas? Oh, wait... nope, that is just Sadie. Sometimes I feel like she does use jedi mind tricks on us...

Yay, time to open presents!

Look how adorable these 3 boys are? Waiting so patiently to open their gifts.

Garren wrote a note to Santa and I think it worked because when we woke up there was a bunch of really cool stuff!
